SJBVSS is successfully running its skill development training unit on conventional and industrial tailoring for poor and underprivileged adolescent girls and widowed/abandoned women. This helps them earn basic livelihood and helps stay away from anti-social activities. 5000 such beneficiaries get training every year from this unit. Students trained in conventional tailoring are encouraged to start their own small businesses and SJBVSS provides guidance and help for the same. The organization also has plans to provide a sewing machine to these women and hence help them start their own business. This not only makes them independent but also helps them earn money for their family.
